Welcome to Lazy K Ranch, owned by Ed & Kay Rodriguez. We purchased our first alpacas in 1999 while still living in Southern California. We've since moved to our ranch about 40 minutes north of Reno, Nevada in the high desert. We've found that our alpacas really love the climate which is similar to that found in the Altiplano of Peru where the alpaca originates. Our starting herd has grown to over 40 animals. The barns are complete, the fencing is going up and our ranch is growing.
